Fall is coming and with the cooler temperatures comes dry skin. Whether you tan indoors or outdoors, keeping our skin glowing can be a challenge.

There are millions of lotions that promise they are greaseless, long lasting and will return our skin “back to when we were 16” but the truth of the matter is most of them contain ingredients that actually do the opposite of hydrating our skin.

Most of us just want a little glow all winter and you can achieve by following these 8 steps.

  1. Dry body brush daily. It encourages the flushing out of excess fluids and toxins, improves circulation and lightly exfoliates the skin. Do this before you shower. Start at your ankles and brush upwards. You’ll see firmer skin within days.
  2. Encourage sparkling skin. Use a quality body scrub a couple times a week, eliminating dry, rough patches and allows for better absorption of body creams.
